story: Thomas J. Land was the 2nd oldest son of James Linville Land Sr. and Edith Livingston. Born abt. 1809 he was an older brother of my great-great grandfather David Land of Wilkes County, North Carolina. Thomas married Matilda Carlton on 30 Aug.1831.
